Flytxt Neon, the pure play mobile marketing platform company, today announced it has promoted Tim Williams, formerly VP Operations, to Chief Executive Officer.
Williams takes the helm at an exciting time for the company as it continues to grow its customer base on 3 continents targeting the Neon platform at mobile operators, content aggregators, media and large enterprise customers.
Tim Williams commented on his role: “I’m thrilled to have been offered the role of CEO at such an interesting time for both mobile marketing and for Flytxt Neon. The Neon platform is an impressive mobile marketing tool with powerful functionality and outstanding usability. The technology team has developed a first class product with a considerable lead over its competitors and I’m proud to be leading the team across the globe. Our customer base is now on an international stage and a great deal of our new business development efforts are out in Southern Asia, Latin America and Easter Europe where the rapid proliferation in mobile phones has resulted in increasingly dynamic business opportunities.”
Tim Williams joined Flytxt Ltd in March 2006 from VCS AG, a pioneer in CCTV over IP where he managed the UK operation, bringing over 20 years of management skills to the company. He started his career with IBM UK Labs developing graphics chips before moving to the US to work at Intel and 8x8 Inc. on video compression support and marketing.
David Harper stays on with Flytxt Neon Ltd as Chairman. He will continue to be actively involved in the company’s new business and product development strategies.
