Flytxt ups flexibility of mobile marketing

New Media Age - Flytxt has launched the next version of its mobile marketing campaign platform, offering enhanced interactivity and MMS integration.

Flytxt Direct 3.0 enables agencies, brands and media owners to develop and run mobile campaigns in-house, to create MMS campaigns and to view in-bound messages in real time.

The latest version of the platform offers far more flexibility in creating campaigns.

Clients will be able to set up keywords to have different bounce back messages depending on the status of the consumer.

"You can run a campaign and send back different messages in reply to in-bound messages from consumers, depending on whether they're on your database or not, so you can cross-sell across your different databases," said Flytxt product manager Ian Daly.

The new version also offers enhanced graphical reporting of campaigns. Whereas version 2 provided reports based on outbound traffic, the new version offers much greater reporting on metrics such as inbound messages and keyword hits.

As the platform is provided as an ASP service, all clients will be automatically moved to the new version via an overnight upgrade. Clients using the platform include Chrysalis and Emap. Daly said the firm is in the final stages of signing up two mobile operators.
