Book publisher selects Flytxt for kids mobile promo

Netimperative - Mobile marketing firm Flytxt has partnered with HarperCollins Children’s Books in the US to launch an SMS campaign.The Meg Cabot Mobile Club will promote the Author’s Princess Diaries series, Ready or Not sequel to All American Girl, and her upcoming book, Avalon High released in January 2006.

Flytxt is providing HarperCollins Children’s Books with wireless solutions and mobile marketing platforms designed to provide interaction between its younger readers and author Meg Cabot.

The SMS-based promotions include sweepstakes, text-based trivia campaigns, screensavers and VoiceTones from the author.

Mobile programs for HarperCollins will run on all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T Wireless, Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel and Verizon.

HarperCollins is supporting the launch of the Meg Cabot Mobile club via advertisements on thewb.com, seventeen.com, teenpeople.com, ellegirl.com and cosmogirl.com.
