Trotman handles data for student clearing work
Monday, 01 August 2005

Brandrepublic - Trotman Information Services is handling data for a text service to advise A-level students on available clearing places at universities.

The text service, by mobile marketing firm Flytxt, will be sent to students who opted in via The Guardian's website.

To register, students keyed in their name, email address, mobile number and selected three preferred courses and institutions.

Flytxt co-founder and corporate business development director Pamir Gelenbe said: "This is yet another good example of how mobile can be invaluable at a time when speed and accuracy is of the utmost importance."
