Clifton has been an investor in venture capital situations for 30 years. It has preferred companies in the healthcare and information technology industries, but has invested in a broad range of sectors in Switzerland, The Netherlands, U.K., India and South Africa. It is comfortable with early stage investments and has usually been the lead investor, although often accompanied by its colleagues. It has had 2 NASDAQ listings (Centrafarm subsequently acquired by Nycomed and Smallworld subsequently acquired by GE) and a number of successful corporate acquisitions including PMP Recruitment.

IVC Venture Capital AG is a leading European Venture Capital firm with the goal of helping the best entrepreneurs build the most successful companies in their fields of expertise. IVC invests in start-up companies in the sectors high-tech, internet, IT and telecommunication at an early stage. The company was founded in 1998 in Frankfurt, Germany. Within a few years, IVC has become one of the first addresses for financing innovative seed- and start-up businesses. A high return IPO as well as several profitable trade sales have been realized so far. Successful entrepreneurs like Dr. Roland Metzger (founder of jobpilot) and the founder of Kingston Technology belong to IVC's global network of affiliates.

RM Shareholding Management (RM Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH) is the investment vehicle for Dr, Roland Metzger. Since 2003 Dr. Metzger has been engaged as an angel investor through RM Shareholding Management (RM Beteiligungsverwaltung GmbH) and as a founder of a number of technology companies including Flytxt.

Schnell Consult is an investment vehicle lead by Bernd Schnell who has founded several successful companies in the past, including IVC Venture Capital AG and S Marketing and Engineering GmbH (today Memq AG). Schnell Consulting has a Business Development responsibility for Kingston Technology and conducts various investment management services.
