Flytxt, it is to run a celebrity voice-push SMS campaign for Valentine's Day. Bliss, Emap's glossy teen girls magazine, today
announced that, together with its wireless marketing provider, Flytxt,
it is to run a celebrity voice-push SMS campaign for Valentine's Day.
Bliss SMS club members get the chance to send their Valentine a special Valentine's voice-push message from So Solid's Romeo or Kelly Osbourne.
The objective behind the campaign is to reward Bliss' loyal database of readers, as well as incentivise friends of Bliss club members, to sign up to the club themselves.
On the 7th February, Bliss' database of 25,140 readers will receive a message asking if they want to send a valentine's message from a star to their Valentine.
Readers simply type in their friend's mobile number, together with a keyword, indicating the star they want the message to be sent from, which is then duly delivered to their Valentine on the 14th.
After the campaign has run, the list of Valentine's numbers will be checked against the Bliss SMS club database. Those Valentine's who are not club members, will then receive an invitation via SMS to join the Bliss club.
