Flytxt commits to youth and leisure sectors through partnership with targetnmi

Flytxt, the wireless marketing expert, today announced its partnership with TargetNMI, a leading communications agency specialising in the youth and leisure sectors. This partnership will allow TargetNMI to offer its clients a combination of both brand communication and wireless marketing in one campaign.

The move marks a first for the youth sector and entertainment industry, combining the strategic and creative brand communication expertise of TargetNMI with Flytxt's technology skills in wireless marketing. Flytxt has already signed a partnership with leading sales promotion agency, Billington Cartmell, and is continuing to build its presence within the advertising and marketing services industry with future partnership agreements in the pipeline.

TargetNMI will be offering its clients - which include Firetrap, Film Four, Codemasters and Vivendi Universal - unrivalled marketing expertise in developing wireless marketing campaigns via text messaging, enhanced messaging and multi-media messaging using Flytxt's wireless campaign management platform. TargetNMI has already demonstrated its commitment to this new medium through its work with Momentum Pictures and Flytxt on the first movie to be marketed by interactive text messaging, the teen comedy 'Get Over It'. The campaign was a great success and helped the film to take £3m at the box office in its first month and propel it to number 3 in the film charts.

The use of wireless marketing for promotional and direct marketing in the youth and entertainment sectors is still in its infancy but its potential is phenomenal. This partnership aims to be at the forefront of the industry and signals a huge change in communication campaigns and their perception amongst consumers.
