Flytxt Neon revolutionises Mobile Direct Marketing

New York, NY & London, England – 10th October 2006.  Flytxt, the leading mobile direct marketing company, today announced the launch of its landmark technology product, Flytxt Neon.  Neon is a mobile marketing platform which empowers marketers to manage their data, send and receive mobile messages, track the results in real time and generate reports. This new ASP product gives marketing departments in-house access to the most complete set of mobile marketing tools available.

Flytxt recognised how mobile marketing agencies predominantly focus on servicing TV-centric brand companies whose mobile marketing spend is a relatively tiny percentage of their total marketing spend.  The major CRM suppliers provide solutions for their blue chip customers concentrating only on direct mail, phone and web. Meanwhile the biggest users of mobile marketing, the mobile content aggregators and emerging mobile carriers, often struggle with band-aid solutions built out of Excel spreadsheets, data dumps from CRM systems and dumb bulk SMS solutions from aggregators. Such band-aid solutions are expensive, time-consuming, ineffective and extremely labour-intensive; they lead to missed sales, poor ROI and consumers turned off by untargeted messages. This is the opportunity identified by Flytxt, and Neon is their response.

 

Key amongst its features, Flytxt Neon’ tracks the number of messages sent, the number of messages received and gives detailed reports on the reason for non-deliveries. For broadcasts with WAP-push, Flytxt Neon also tracks how many consumers click-through to WAP landing pages and sales confirmation pages and reports the value of resulting sales. Users can track successful billing and each consumer’s profile can be automatically updated to record a sale. This lets companies see their ROI and target their best customers with further promotions, special offers and incentives.

 

Integration has been another key focus during the development of Flytxt Neon. It can import databases from any existing CRM system and export to them, and it includes powerful Web APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to easily integrate with existing business information systems.
