United International Pictures announced the launch of its mobile marketing campaign promoting the launch of Paramount Pictures’ new ‘chick flick’ movie release, ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’. First ever SMS Art Auction from britart launches at Selfridges.

Britart.com, the centre for affordable, well-known British art is taking over Selfridges' window displays in Oxford Street, Trafford Centre and Exchange Square, central Manchester and giving passers by the 'one-off' opportunity to bid via their mobile phone for their favourite piece of original art. MasterCard International is launching to the UK financial and retail sector its consultancy service on SMS text messaging, which will focus on permission-based SMS marketing campaigns. The service will help banks and retailers reduce the cost and implementation cycle of SMS campaigns, as well as guaranteeing a high quality of SMS service".
