Channel 5 today announced that it, together with its
wireless marketing partner, Flytxt, will be adding an interactive
element to both the promotion and exclusive live coverage of '95.8
Capital FM's Party in the Park for the Princes Trust', which will be
shown on Channel 5 from 12.05pm until 7.00pm on Sunday 7th July, 2002.
The interactive SMS promotional campaign will aim to drive ratings of
Channel 5's coverage of the event on the day itself, as well as build
excitement and buzz around the Party, prior to the day. The interactive
features within the programme itself are aimed at enhancing the content
of the live broadcast to enable Channel 5 viewers to interact and
become more involved with the show.
